How to Use Tweetdeck as another Account

When someone invites you to be a contributor on their Twitter account, it can be confusing at first.
Here’s how to ensure you are Tweeting as the account and not as yourself.

This five minute video gives a quick overview of how to change accounts on the fly, to like share and comment as well as to create new Tweets.
In fact, as a contributor, you can do everything you would normally in Twitter, except control other members of the team.

Some Hints:

You can pick the account you want to work with in different ways, but if you are going to work for a while on one account, you can make it the default for a while.
You can switch back and forth making different accounts the default as you go.

When you want to switch between accounts, it’s easy. Just pick the account you want for the action you are about to do.

You can log in directly at https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ but if you are already logged in to your own account you will already be logged in and able to see different parts of your account in columns.

The articles on the blog will be updated and added to as time goes on but this should help to get started and no doubt you will discover all that you can do for yourself.

Tweetdeck is great for Creative groups, Charities and and for friends who like to help one another out. Each person logs in with their own account and, if they should leave or no longer want to be involved the account’s main login details have not been spread about or been at risk in an email.

Everybody can use this useful tool for free, but not everyone even knows it exists!
